Petite cocktail waitresses, Faye Rex 24 and Stephanie Jaggers 27 are suing NY Nightclub- The Boom Boom Room, for one million dollars each, claiming they were dismissed for being too short. Faye at 5ft 3in and Stephanie at 5ft 4in are not exactly vertically challenged, but nothing is surprising in a world obsessed with looks and appearance.

The pair also allege gender discrimination because the height requirement only applied to women. The Boom Boom Room was renovated and redecorated last summer and according to the lawsuit, the club management made a conscious decision to discharge all waitresses who were not tall, slender or beautiful enough. The ladies also contend that they had recieved positive  feedback regarding their work prior to the clubs renovation and were of the opinion that the club sacked them because they did not fit in with the new image that the club was trying to project.

If what the ladies claim is true, then it stands to reason that even hotties but shorties like Christina Aguilera or Carmen Electra would not stand a chance of being employed as cocktail waitresses at The Boom Boom Room.
