Having a bad hair day? Prepare to be rejected by some Nightclubs.

If you are a boy with longer hair, bad hairstyle or a shocking haircut you will be refused entry into Sydney nightclubs. Pontoon Bar and Home nightclub promoters say the ban on sporting hairstyles such as "rat's tails" and "step haircuts" was a bid to stop violence. In their defense the "rat's tails" haircut seems to be the worst haircut out there.

The club owners feel the way someone wears their clothes, the way their hair is done and their attitude gives a very good indicator of how they will behave in a social gathering. Club promoter Milos Rsovac the man behind the ban says, "And we find that those with bad attitudes tend to have those types of haircuts. Our major concern is about the patrons. If you want them to come back every week, you've got to make them feel safe." No, you don't get any discounts if you are bald and want to enter the nightclub.

Is this a great idea to curb alcohol related violence - is the nightclub just being honest? Should more nightclubs adopt this attitude?
