Hip-hop star Mos Def has made it a habit of pulling out of his concerts and disappointing his fans. Now he is being sued by concert promoters REMG Entertainment after he was a no-show at his concert at the Kool Haus in Toronto.

REMG has claimed the star pulled out of his concert just 24 hours before his scheduled slot, despite cashing a $12,500 deposit. The deposit was a guarantee of his performance at the concert. After failing to show up Mos Def didn't bother to return the $12,500.

There's more. Concert organizers say on top of not returning the deposit they lost another $45,000 in "lost customers, sales and goodwill." Concert organizers are suing the rapper for at least $57,500.

Mos Def when he turns up,is amazing at his live shows and concerts, but this is no way to treat his fans and concert organizers. The rapper has been a no-show at least thrice in Denver alone. At least one concert promoter in Denver has thought of boycotting him permanently for disappointing his fans.

If you are a Mos Def fan are you going to buy a concert ticket for his show again?
