Las Vegas nightclub, Lolita's Cantina and Tequila Bar has made history by introducing holographic dancing girls in its club for entertainment. Well it had to happen after Avatar broke the barrier between the real world and the virtual world.

Digital Illusions, the company credited for creating the dancing girls says that the DJ will now not only have control of the music but will also be in charge of the dancing.

Digital Illusions owner Ann DeVilbiss had this to say about the dancing girls, "Each one is ready to perform at a moment's notice. Each one is surrounded by special effects and magical appearances and disappearances. But, most importantly each one looks totally real." So no more sick leaves and holidays for dancing girls at Lolita's.

The holographic images won't be limited to dancing girls, the club can conjure up images of musicians, entertainers, artists and magicians at the drop of a hat.

Are you impressed with the club having holographic dancers and more importantly do people really want to see live dancers being replaced by images that are conjured out of thin air by the push of a button?
