Charles Juba tried to open a nightclub for youths under 21 called The Black Flag (no kidding). But due to his well known reputation as a former Aryan Nations leader, his club that was going to be set in Odessa, MO will not open as planned.
The community rallied against him in a protest and in less than a week, the plans for the new club went down. Juba did not put up much of a fight and the citizens of Odessa are relieved that The Black Flag will not become a reality after all.
The community was afraid that because of Juba’s background, the club would bring racism and anti-Semitic sentiment. While the city really did not want Juba to bring his club into town, one thing’s for sure: he brought the community together.[read more]
