U2 is racking up some impressive stats lately both offline and online. According to their website, the Irish Rock superstars, who’ll be returning to Canada and the US next summer, drew 97,000 fans to their sold out show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and drew another 10 million people via YouTube’s webcast.

Fans from 188 countries viewed the concert on YouTube and helped make U2’s concert simulcast the video site’s largest streaming event ever. The rebroadcast video has been watched by an additional 1.1 million viewers thus far. The full 2 1/2-hour concert is still available on YouTube.
