As part of our October 2009 release, EventOrb has released "The Event Promoter Journal" -- a live feed integrated into the profile pages of Event Promoters, consisting of all their activities, written thoughts and accumulated actions that their audience can interact with.
This bite-sized stream of live updates provides a simple yet very effective way for promoters to directly engage their audience.
Here are some of the features that come with this release:
- A nifty new sidebar containing a user's logo, action links, network, event photos and upcoming event widgets.
- While logged in, a promoter can drag and drop the widgets in their sidebar to different locations. Everyone visiting their profile page will then see their sidebar widgets ordered according to their preference.
Clicking on the enlarge icon underneath the upcoming event pops up a bigger view of a promoter's event, with more detail.
- A content area containing a little more information about a promoter's profile, a journal entry field that they and their audience can write into and most importantly their Live Journal Feed.
We hope the new features come in handy for promoters as they continue to try and keep their audience up to date. Now more than ever we are looking for ways to integrate with other live stream websites such as Facebook and Twitter, to give promoters a more pervasive presence online.
