Tila Tequila Attacked at Concert in Illinois (update)

by Sandy on Aug 20, 2010 02:29   0  Comments   Share

There's always two sides to every story. Concert organizers of Gathering of the Juggalos have washed their hands off any responsibility in the insane incident that happened last weekend to online celebrity Tila Tequila at the Juggalos festival.

Juggalo Gathering LLC that organizes the Juggalos concert said neither it or the band Insane Clown Posse was responsible for Tila Tequila being attacked by fans of the band.

The company had this to say, "Ms. Tequila was made aware, in advance, of her unpopularity with many Juggalos at the Gathering, but she insisted on performing. She was even paid in full before her performance, and was told that she did not have to perform, but if she did decide to perform, she could leave the stage the minute that she felt uncomfortable." The Swedish born Tim Berg AKA Avicii was voted the 'Best Breakthrough DJ/Producer' of 2009. This led to his first release 'Lazy Lace'.

Following the success of his first big track 'Manman', the 20-year-old Avicii has embarked on his first world tour and has been showing off his spinning skills at various nightclubs in Las Vegas. More...

by Sandy on Aug 17, 2010 03:26   1  Comments   Share

Some joker at popular nightclub 'Muzique' in Montreal thought it hilarious, to send out an invite for one of their events with a little sign off saying "No Fat Girls Allowed !!!!!!!!!! :)".

As expected, no one saw the funny side of it and the invite has become highly controversial. Club owners have been quick to deny their involvement in the whole affair saying it wasn't their idea and blamed it on a party planner for the event. However they are willing to apologize for the rude invite.

Many of the "plus-sized" patrons of the club were shocked at the discrimination based on weight and said they wouldn't visit the nightclub again. More...

Bartenders love their job but sometimes they have to deal with annoying customers to keep the party flowing smoothly.

DO be friendly to the bartender. This is a no-brainer. Bartenders like to engage with customers and it's easier when you are friendly.

DON'T snap your fingers at the bartender. Chances are you will be ignored for the rest of the night.  More...

DJ Who doesn't like to focus on the fact that she is a woman in a male dominated field. Don't misunderstand her, she likes being a woman, but she would rather people appreciated her skills than the fact that she's a bombshell in a DJ booth.

DJ Who only got into the spinning business because of a dare she took at the young age of 17. At a party in Fort Lauderdale someone challenged her to get on the decks and she did. Since then one gig has led to another and she has been loving it.More...

Pooping Pigeons Disrupt Kings Of Leon Concert

by Sandy on Aug 9, 2010 01:58   0  Comments   Share

We've heard of many reasons that force performers to cut short a concert but bird poo has never been one of them until now.

The Grammy-winning rock band Kings Of Leon were forced to abandon their concert midway at St Louis's Verizon Amphitheater after the band were pelted by pigeon droppings.

For the sake of their fans the band decided to continue performing in spite of pigeon droppings. The flock of pigeons living in the venue's rafters didn't give up so easily.

They kept pelting the poor boys with poo bombs. After performing three songs the band made the hard decision of cancelling the show.

The band comprising of brothers Caleb Followill, Nathan Followill, Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill released this statement after the performance,"We didn't want to cancel the show, so we went for it. We tried to play. It was ridiculous." More...
