Hip-hop star Drake provided the sparks for the spectacular opening of the Chateau Nightclub and gardens at Paris Las Vegas on March 5th. Eager crowds clamored to get in long before the official opening time of 10.30 pm. The atmosphere outside the club was electric to say the least. Night clubs are a dime a dozen in Hollywood, there is one on every corner, which is not really surprising as everyone loves to party there. The latest addition to the long list of nightclubs here is the Tru Hollywood nightclub on Argyle Avenue which opened on the 18th of this month. The nightclub opened with a bang and hosted an exclusive NBA allstar weekend bash on its opening night and on the very next day Nick channel star Victoria Justice threw a party at the same venue. The 9,500 square feet, nightclub Tru Hollywood supper and nightclub aspires to be one of the best in the business and a great deal of thought has gone into the design and layout of the nightclub.

Winners of the the prestigious Nightclub and bar awards, for 2011 have been declared by Questex Media Group's Nightclub & Bar Magazine. The selection committee comprises of leading journalists, industry experts and third party consultants.  More than 290 bars, nightclubs and restaurants had entered the competition this year, out of which 21 winners were selected across various categories. A new category dedicated exclusively for nightclubs in Las Vegas was introduced this year. The privileged winners will be feted at a gala function at the nightclub and bar convention and trade show from March 7 to 9, in Las Vegas.

Petite cocktail waitresses, Faye Rex 24 and Stephanie Jaggers 27 are suing NY Nightclub- The Boom Boom Room, for one million dollars each, claiming they were dismissed for being too short. Faye at 5ft 3in and Stephanie at 5ft 4in are not exactly vertically challenged, but nothing is surprising in a world obsessed with looks and appearance.

Canadian recording artist and actor Drake is back in the United States after the conclusion of his European tour. The tour was a grueling affair with pit stops all over Europe including London, Paris and Belgium.

Drake now obviously wants to unwind and celebrate the success of his tour by partying. Drake was seen partying the night away at Dream night club in Miami. Looking sharp and cool as ever, Drake was clearly the star of the evening. Dream is an upscale nightclub located in the heart of South Beach, Florida.
